Scout keeps public transportation affordable with steep savings for eligible riders. Discounts are activated after eligibility is confirmed.

LYNX Access Plus / Individuals with Disabilities.$1 per trip

To qualify for the Scout service disability discount, you must provide one of the following:

  1. Access Lynx Approval Notice: Submit an unexpired approval notice from Lynx confirming eligibility for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Program (Access Lynx). Email the notice to scout@ridefreebee.com. For details on applying for Access Lynx, visit golynx.com.
  2. Access Plus Card: Submit an unexpired Access Plus Card. Email the card to scout@ridefreebee.com. For information on obtaining an Access Plus Card, visit golynx.com or call 407-423-8747. Note: Other reduced fare cards, such as the Lynx Advantage Card, do not qualify.
  3. Notice of Award: Submit a Notice of Award Letter issued by Social Security Administration (SSA) confirming approval for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or other disability benefits. Email the letter to scout@ridefreebee.com.
  4. SSDI Benefit Verification Letter: Submit a Benefit Verification Letter confirming current receipt of SSDI benefits. Email the letter to scout@ridefreebee.com.

Note: we reserve the right to request a current Benefit Verification Letter if your Notice of Award Letter was issued more than two years before your application date. To obtain a Benefit Verification Letter, visit www.ssa.gov/myaccount or call the SSA at 1-800-772-1213.

SunRail Connections$2 per tripNo application required – discount automatically applies for trips beginning or ending at the nearest SunRail station during Sunrail operation hours.

 



Payment Options

Scout supports flexible payment options through the Ride Freebee app. Use a credit card, debit card, or mobile wallet. Best of all, app users get a 50¢ discount per ride.
